Ryan Little, the co-creator of Kahhor’s character and a writer for What If…? is a part of the creative team for the new installment of Marvel’s Voices line. Indigenous creators Arihhonni “Honni” David and Kelly Lynne D’Angelo will make their Marvel Comics debuts with Kahhori’s debut comics adventures. Acclaimed Marvel artists David Cutter, Jim Terry, and more will provide art for the story. Marvel unveiled Afua Richardson’s cover art for the issue and a solicit for the story describing what adventures Kahhori will go on in the issue. Kahhori: Reshaper of Worlds #1 will go on sale on Nov. 6.
Kahhori is the first original superhero in the Marvel Cinematic Universe, with the writers of What If…? creating her storyline and making her one of the show’s heroes intended to give others hope in troubled times when the show’s second season aired during the COVID-19 pandemic and the 2020 United States presidential election. Kahhori has superhuman powers that allows her to manipulate cosmic energy. She can also create portals and has telekinetic powers. The character is voiced by Devery Jacobs and has appeared in the episodes “What If… Kahhori Reshaped the World?” and “What If… Strange Supreme Intervened?”
