Featuring a range of robotic animals and even creatures from mythology, these toys transform from their robotic beast modes into cubes that can be slid into their titular boxes. Now, Evangelion is getting the 52TOYS treatment, with the EVA units all taking on the form of robotic beetles.Each Kabuto-Eva comes with a card showcasing which EVA unit they’re based on, with these also having stands on which to display them. Available to order on the AmiAmi online store, the trio will retail at around US$76 and become available in February 2024. This set is only one of the numerous licensed Beastbox collectibles from 52TOYS; previous examples include an Iron Man-themed toy, and with the likes of other franchises such as Alien, Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles, Chinese blockbuster movie The Wandering Earth and anime Super Robot franchises like Mazinger getting in on the action.
