Ahead of the New York Toy Show, Hasbro is rolling out a look at some brand-new Transformers toys that are sure to make playtime more than meets the eye.Based on the Transformers: Earthspark animated series, the Cyber-Combiners series adds even more playability to the line of converting figures. Comprised of Cyber-Combiner Bumblebee/Mo Malto and Terran Twitch/Robby Malto, the packaged figures combine with each other to form a super robot. Taking the franchise’s puzzle mechanics to the next level, the former can combine two ways to become a superpowered version of Bumblebee or Mo, while the latter can do the same and have either Twitch or Robby be the dominant persona.In the animated series, Robby and Mo are human allies of the Autobots, with the toys portraying them as wearing robotic Cybertronian armor. Bumblebee and Terran Twitch can also transform into their respective alternate modes (sports car and stealth drone) via simple mechanics that are perfect for younger fans.
