He has no problem with that, and so the Infinity Stone-bearers are trying to team up to protect themselves from Thanos, and that requires searching out OTHER Infinity Stone-bearers, and that leads them to Wolverine, who was once the bearer of the Space Stone, and their meeting does not go well, as seen in this CBR exclusive preview of next week’s Wolverine Annual #1.
Wolverine Annual #1 is from Ezra Claytan Daniels, artist Yıldıray Çınar, colorist Frank D’Armata, and letterer Cory Petit, and it sees two of the Stone-bearers, Apex (the Power Stone-bearer) and Multitude (the Soul Stone-bearer) chasing down Wolverine in the middle of remote Canada to see if he can join them against Thanos, and if not, then they have to keep him from getting in their way.
In the preview pages, we see Wolverine visiting an old friend in a remote part of Canada, to pick up a motorcycle that was being worked on. Wolverine famously loves to take it easy in the remotest areas of Canada, as it one of the only places he can go to get away from the world of superheroes and supervillains he is so routinely stuck in (in his upcoming Wolverine ongoing series, we see Wolverine pull back from society even MORE).
