J.M. DeMatteis Returns to the ‘DeMultiverse’ With Five New Releases

Back in 2022, legendary comic book writer J.M. DeMatteis launched a new line of comic books through Spellbound Comics dubbed “The DeMultiverse” by virtue of all four titles being written and co-created by the longtime comic book writer. Well, after the series had a successful crowdfunding, DeMatteis is back for more with a new crowd-funding project for the SECOND issues of the DeMultiverse, plus one brand-new title on top of the four original series that are returning for their second issues.
DeMatteis told CBR about the project (which has already hit its initial funding goal with over three weeks to go), “It was exciting when we launched the first round of DeMultiverse titles, but I knew then that these were essentially pilot issues and there’s just so much of a new universe you can communicate in one introductory story. With these second issues, we’re building up and out from those foundations and the scope of the stories, the vastness of the worlds, starts to really become visible.”
Plus there is one brand-new title joining the DeMultiverse this time around, and it is a supernatural mystery series dubbed The Edward Gloom Mysteries, co-created (and drawn) by Vasillis Gogtzilas
