Vengeance of the Moon Knight #7 finds two of the Midnight Mission’s greatest heroes, Tigra and Hunter’s Moon, deep within the hallowed halls of Asgard with Max Coleridge, better known as the Shroud, in tow. As a result of Khonshu’s imprisonment, Marc Spector lost the effective immortality that he had relied upon for so many years in the course of his duties as a Fist of Khonshu. This led to Marc Spector’s ultimate demise in the pages of 2023’s Moon Knight #30 by Jed MacKay and Alessandro Cappuccio, in which the titular hero sacrificed himself to save New York City from what would have otherwise been a devastating attack. Since then, Moon Knight’s allies have done everything they can to keep watch over the Midnight Mission that Marc founded and to keep his legacy alive.
