Deadman possessed Batman’s sleeping body and teamed up with Sandman (and later, a wakened Robin) to get the Nightmare Stone to keep it from Insomnia and to fight the villain, and in the last issue of the series out this week, Deadman (who had been attempting to access Insomnia’s memories over the course of the story, and slowly learned bits and pieces), finally learns Insomnia’s full origin and what it means for Insomnia’s plan!However, instead, their home was destroyed by one the League’s battles, and Lukas was driven insane from the trauma of watching his loving family murdered in front of his eyes, damning the Justice League, blaming them for drawing the danger to our Earth…
